Safety begins with understanding the language used on the job site. This course focuses on the English vocabulary and communication skills needed to identify, use, and discuss personal protective equipment (PPE) in industrial and construction environments.

Students will learn:

• Common PPE terminology
• Site safety requirements
• Inspection and maintenance vocabulary
• Reporting damaged equipment
• Understanding safety instructions

Upon completion, students will be able to communicate clearly about PPE requirements and contribute to a safer workplace.
